Ce soir, je me sens égoïste... Je poste donc une photo de moi et moi et moi et moi et moi... J'étais plus jeune et surtout...très frisée... Ah! les jolies frisettes...
Tonight, I feel selfish. I post a pic of ME and ME and ME and ME and ME... Was younger and had curly hair...AH! Those nice curlzzzzzzzzzzzz.

IT WAS THE BEST OF TIMES, IT WAS THE WORST OF TIMES...

I've already posted this on my other blog but I've decided to translated it for my english-speaking friends. This is a true story. It is an abstract from a little book written and illustrated by my mom for my niece Gene. This story happenned in the thirties. My mother was about nine years old... She lived on a farm with lots of brothers and sisters. I hope the traduction is not too bad...

Sometimes, in winter, when the weather was gloomy and when the snow and the wind oblitarated the old lane, my father harnessed the Old Fine to the cariole and came to take us at school. Hidden under the fur blankets, we were cradled by the slow, safe and regular pace of our nice pink mare. No no, Fine was not really pink. But like many horses of her lineage, she was of a nice beige color, had heavy horse hair and a long golden blond tail.

Fine tragically died on a summer day, while she was grazing in the middle or our fields with her inseparable companion, Jo the black Bronco. They were both hit by a stroke of lightning during a terrible storm. My father never had time to bring them back to the stable. When he told us that Fine was dead, I was very sad and cried for a long time. I was nine years old then. After a few weeks, I was comforted by the though that my Fine was at last free. She didn't have to work hard on the farm anymore, pulling the plow or dragging some heavy cartloads of oat. She was now forever happy in the great golden light of Paradise, even nicer, and at last, really pink.

Octobre, c'est le mois des anniversaires de mes deux filleules, Patricia (12 ans) et Geneviève (11 ans). Depuis qu'elles sont toutes petites, je les photographie. Elles sont si belles. Mais voilà que ces adolescentes ne se laissent plus aussi facilement prendre en photo par matantélène... Soupirs...
October. My two goddaughters are one year older. Happy Birthdays! Patricia is now twelve and Gene is eleven. Since they were babies, I've taken a lot of photos of them. They are so cute! But now, those two teens don't want to be in my pics anymore... I guess that's what teenage is all about. Independance. Sigh.

Andrea expose dans les galeries de l'Ouest du pays et vous pouvez, par l'intermédiaire de son blog accéder à ses oeuvres. J'adore ce tableau avec les poissons multicolores. COOL!
Andrea lives in British-Colombia. She is an extrordinary artist. I've met her by blogger. Her site's name is "Colouring Outside the Lines". Go see it! And from it you have access to the galeries where she shows her wonderful creations. I really love this Fish Painting. COOL!

He has put a mapping identification under his latest pics and it's interesting to see that photos that have very different looks have all been taken in the same places! Vendredi soir. Vernissage au Domaine Maizeret. Après avoir quitté l'exposition, je me suis promenée près d'un petit étang. Il faisait nuit, on entendait les canards, mais on les voyait à peine. J'ai décidé de faire quelques images. Sans trop savoir ce que je photographiait. Le résultat est impressionnant. Impressioniste devrais-je dire.
Friday night. Saw an exposition of watercolors at "Le Domaine Maizeret" . Then, I went for a little walk. There was a small lake. I heard some ducks but did not see them very well. I decided to take some pics. The results were impressive. Impressionist should I say...

17-Have two University degrees. Pharmacy and....Art.

18- Still love The Beatles. Was in love with John at the age of ten.

19-My father died of leukemia ten years ago. My mother is 80.

20-Have to cats. Guess what their names are.... Merlin and Princesse. LOL

Ouf..... It took me 8 and a half minutes..... Andrea is better than me...
