Winnipeg étant la capitale du Manitoba, on y retrouve les édifices gouvernementaux, tout près de la rivière Assiniboine. La statue de Louis Riel (dont je reparlerai plus tard) se trouve non loin du parlement.
Winnipeg being the Capital of Manitoba, the Legislative Building is there, near the Assiniboine River. A statue of Louis Riel ( I will talk about him later) is near the Parliament.

I will wait to hear about what Louis Riel did later! It must have been big for a statue to be made of him! The statue is big!!!
Louis Riel...Hheheh. He's dead but had a strange life.... :)
That IS a very large man! What is he crushing - your constitutional rights? hehehehee....Oh, I'm thinking of America.
Eille! c'est moi sur la deuxième photo :-)!
@anonymous: let's say that the bigness of the statue is proportional to a compensation for a missing.
I love this type of architecture.
Me too, CES! :) The Quebec Parliament is a lot bigger! But certainly not nicer!
