We arrive at the hotel at 17:30hrs. Banff is touristic. Our motel is at one end of the village. Since there is a big japanese comunity in Banff, we not only find the usual Gideon's Bible, but also a book of the Teaching of Buddha! :)
Écrit seulement en Japonais!
From our window, we see the mountains and I realize that I'm not used to that kind of perspective. It's a bit staggering!
BON SUSHIS!!!!! :)
I think the owners of the hotel where we stay are Japanese. And there is a restaurant , the Japanese Restaurant Miki, where we take our Supper... GOOD SUSHIS!!!!! :)

I thought you were in Japan! The scenery and climate is probably close to that near Mount Fuiji :)
OH! That's nice to tell me that, Anon, since one of my dreams is to go to Japan!!!! But I guess I will never go... So now, I at least know I had the feeling of Japan! :) I have a special love for Japan, its story, its people and its magnifiscent art! :) I own two old and very nice Japanese prints... :) Hhehheheh!
I think you know we have a special relationship with one Japanese family in particular. They flew here just to have dinner with us about a month ago and of course my first son has visited them also. I'm very sure Banff is very similar - so you are almost there already :))
Yup, I know! I've seen all the little movies! :) Take the plane just for dinner!!! How cool! :) I can only hope one day, I will visit your side of the planet.... :) At least, some of my ATCs have! Hhehehe...

My trip to Banff was about 16 years ago... I made a big loop up into Canada... Loved Glacier National Park, and of curse the Rockies back in the U.S... You've got my "traveling juices" flowing again...
