Il y a 128 km (80 miles) entre Calgary et Banff. Nous avions décidé de ne pas visiter Calgary, qui ressemble à Montréal ou à n'importe quelle grosse ville du monde. Nous avons hâte de voir les Rocheuses et nous prenons immédiatement la Transcanadienne en direction de Banff. Il faut conduire environ 1 heure 20 minutes pour arriver à Banff, mais nous prenons tout notre temps car nous voulons profiter des magnifiques paysages. Nous arrêtons donc souvent et notre premier arrêt est pour prendre de l'essence...OUPS! Presqu'oublié....Hhehehhe... Pour l'instant, les Rocheuses ne sont qu'une petite ligne à l'horizon, mais en environ 30 minutes, nous serons DANS les montagnes. Fascinante expérience que de voir ces montagnes s'approcher si rapidement...
There are 128 km (80miles) between Calgary and Banff. We decide not to visit Calgary, wich is a big city like Montreal.... We are really eager to see the Rockies, so we get out of the City , and take the Trans-Canada Highway for Banff. It takes about 1hour 20 minutes to get from Calgary to Banff, but we want to enjoy the trip, so we often stop. And our first stop is for gas...OUPS.... We forgot...Hhehehe. For now, the Rockies are far far away on the horizon, but in about 30 minutes, we will be INTO the mountains. It is a fascinating experience to see those mountains coming on us! :)
La fin des plaines....Petits ballots de foin.... Les Rocheuses très très loin.... OUI!!!! Je prends des photos en conduisant. Mais la route est TRÈS droite...Hhehehhe.

Those are the canadian Plains, Anon! But the end of it. Half an hour later, we were in the MOUNTAINS!!!! :)

Ce qu'il y a de bien, avec les voitures de louage, c'est qu'on n'a pas à les laver !
Et lapin poulain ne s'est pas senti dépaysé...
