PPC, this is a special necklace. There are two possibilities. It was hurt and some veterinarians wants to follow him for some time. Or it's a animal tagged by some scientists that follow migrations of deers. :) It's a deer, my dear! :) But I'm almost sure the two first pics (it's the same animal) are from a moose... A young one. In fact, not certain at all. Moose, elk, dear, canadian elk , cow,etc... Too lazy to check on google... :) Anon, an elk is like a wapiti... kinda... And it could be a he... Hhehehehe...It's a youngster...

They are beautiful, CES... The pic is not very good, because I was driving while taking it trough my window car... Hhehehe. But driving very sloooowly, I swear!!! :)

We saw the Dall Sheep when we were in Alaska, as well as moose.
Feeling nostalgic now, homesick for a place I have never lived, but always wanted to...
Alaska is COLD!!!And the days are really short in Winter...I'm pretty sure your life is easier down South! :)

I love the big horns. We also saw some in Colorado. It's my son's favorite animal.
