JOUR DE L'ATC
ATC DAY

Here is again my "ATC Thursday"post... It will now be presented any day of the week! :)

I've not been often on Blogger lately, but I have been creating more ATCs to exchange on Flick'r and atcsforall.com. One of the most recent swap I've made was called "Merry Christmas Crow". The inspiration of that exchange was from a little children book written by Kathi Appelt and illustrated by Jon Goodell. Basically, storyline is a crow is seen gathering all sorts of bits and pieces around a busy town and flying over the crowds that are getting ready for Christmas. A piece of string, a bit of foil, some dried leaves, a twig of berries, etc. Back and forth flies the crow until finally we see him deep within a pine tree that has been 'decorated' with all the bits and bobs. And, the crow is snuggly sleeping in his little nest.

We had to illustrate that charming story, and here is the result. :)

All those crows have been drawn after my own photographies...

What a neat little story. Don't worry about the blogs, it will always be there as I have proven. It's no fun to blog when one is busy, just for the sake of posting. Keep warm my dear Merlin Princesse.

P.S. J'ai oublié le mode d'emploi.
Je visiterai tes archives.

I like the sound of the crow story decorating his tree and your ATC's are a wonderful illustration. Amazing how cats become wide awake when you wish they were curled up fast asleep ... like when we are busy doing crafts or putting up the Christmas tree - my cat has become a kitten once again trying to get the baubles off the branches the little demon ;)

Hello KJ. Thanks for the visit. I've been so-so for many days. Winter is difficult for me those days...

That's why I don't make a Christmas tree anymore, Bimbimbie. Princesse was getting sick chewing on all the things in the tree... Badbad kitty!!!
