QUATRE SAISONS DANS LA RUELLE DES CHATS (deuxième partie) FOUR SEASONS IN CAT'S ALLEY (second part)

Tout a commencé il y a un an, aux premières neiges. Déjà, lorsque je partais ou revenais chez moi, je voyais des traces de pattes dans la neige fraîche. Il aurait pû s'agir de pattes d'écureuils, de chats ou de petits chiens, mais je n'avais vu aucun animal sur mon patio. Ce n'est qu'en février 2011 par une belle journée d'hiver où j'avais laissé ma fenêtre entr'ouverte pour que Chausson et Princesse puissent prendre un peu l'air, que j'ai vu un chat inconnu sur mon patio. Il faisait doux et le minet prenait du soleil.

It all started a year ago when snow fell for the first time. Sometimes, when I was leaving home or coming back from work, I was seeing paw prints in the snow. It could have been the feet of squirrels, cats or small dogs, but I had never seen any animal on my sundeck. On a beautiful Winter day of February 2011 I left my window open for Chausson and Princess so they could breath some fresh air and that day I saw an unknown cat on my patio. The cute kitty was taking a sunbath.

Au début, je n'ai rien remarqué. Je prenais des photos du minet, quand soudain, il s'est retourné. Pauvre petite chose! Il avait un oeil infecté! Évidemment, je ne pouvais pas l'approcher car dès que j'ai mis les pieds dehors, il s'est enfui!

At first, I noticed nothing in particular but when the cat looked at me, I saw he had an eye infection. Poor little thing! But I couldn't do anything, cause when I tried to go outside, the cat left.































Cependant, il n'avait pas l'air de souffrir et prenait son bain de soleil! Toutefois, je n'ai jamais sû si ce chat appartenait à quelqu'un où s'il était errant. Je l'ai revu au cours de l'été suivant et son oeil était tout à fait guéri. J'aurais plus tard des images à vous montrer...

I must say the cat didn't seem to suffer though and was enjoying the sun. I never found if the cat was a stray cat or if he had an owner, but I saw him during the next Summer and his eye was healed. I even have photos of him and his nice face back to normal.... later...
