Vous vous souvenez du premier chat qui m'avait visitée en février 2011? Celui qui avait une infection à un oeil... Il est réapparu sur mon patio le 2 juillet 2011, tout à fait guéri. Et il a même volé pour quelques minutes la chaise préférée du chat gris et blanc...

Excusez-moi tout d'abord d'avoir abandonné quelque peu ce blog. Des problèmes de santé m'y on contrainte. Je promets de continuer à ajouter des photos le plus souvent possible.
First, all my excuses for being unfaithful to this blog. I was a wee sick but I promise to post more often.
FIN JUIN 2011.... C'était il y a un an déjà! C'est à cette époque que me me suis rendu compte que le chat noir aux 6 doigts venait voler la bouffe du chat gris et blanc. Sous l'oeil même de ce dernier, et de Chausson et Princesse! Quelle sans-gêne! J'ai donc dû, à partir de ce moment-là, commencer à nourrir les deux chats, puisqu'ils se battaient parfois pour la bouffe!
END OF JUNE 2011.... Already one year ago. At that time, I realized that the black cat with 6 toes was stoling the grey and white cat's food, under his nose and witouth bothering Chausson and Princesse watching! What a little rascal! From this moment, I had to feed both cats to avoid any battle between the two cats.

FOUR SEASONS IN CATS' ALLEY (sixth part)
Durant tout le mois de juin 2011, le chat gris s'est vite habitué à venir 2 fois par jour pour recevoir sa petite écuelle de bouffe. Un lien mental s'est peu à peu créé entre nous. Il savait d'avance quand j'allais arriver de mon travail et attendait patiemment que j'aie nourri mes chats et que je lui apporte sa nourriture.
During all the month of June 2011, the grey cat became used to come and see me twice a day to get his food. We had a mental connection, I think, and he knew when I was arriving from work, late at night. He was then patiently waiting for his dish of food while I was feeding my own cats.
Parfois, le chat gris passait quelques heures à se prélasser sur mon patio. Il était souvent suivi de près par le chat noir dont vous pouvez ici voir les pouces!!! :)
Sometimes, the grey cat was taking some good times on my sundeck, often followed by the black cat. Here you can see this mutant's thumbs! :)

FOUR SEASONS IN CATS' ALLEY (fifth part)
Durant tout le mois de mai 2011, j'eus la visite du chat noir et du chat gris. Mes chats n'en revenaient pas de toutes ces visites quotidiennes.
During all the month of May 2011, the black cat and the grey cat went on coming on my pation. My own cats were amazed by all those visits!
J'avais déjà remarqué que le chat noir avait un collier, je ne le nourrissais donc pas. De plus, j'avais également noté un petit quelque chose supplémentaire chez lui : IL AVAIT 6 DOIGTS!!! Un pouce supplémentaire très mignon, dont je vous montrerai quelques photos plus tard! :)
I had already noticed that the black cat was wearing a collar, so I din't feed him. But I also had noticed something unusual on him. HE WAS A SIX-FINGERS CAT! He had a very cute thumb. I have photos and will show them later...
Comme le chat gris me semblait abandonné, je lui donnais de la nourriture deux fois par jour, en même temps que je nourrissais Princesse et Chausson. Petit à petit, le chat gris se mit à venir tous les jours, miaulant à ma fenètre et donnant des coups de patte dans mon moustiquaire.
Since I thought that the grey cat was a stray cat, I began to feed him twice a day, morning and evening. Soon, he had get the habit to come every day, meowing at my window or even giving some paws strokes on my screen.
Une fois bien repus, le chat gris s'installait sur mes vieilles chaises de plastiques empilées sur mon patio. Là, il piquait un petit somme ou observait les allées et venues dans la ruelle.
Once his belly was full, the grey cat was getting a little nap on some old white plastic chairs on the patio. Or sometimes, he was just watching what was happening in the alley...
Et Chausson et Princesse continuaient d'observer les minous du voisinage...
And Chausson and Princesse were observing all those kitties from the neighbourhood.

QUATRE SAISONS DANS LA RUELLE DES CHATS (quatrième partie)
FOUR SEASONS IN CATS' ALLEY (fourth part)
C'est en mai 2011 seulement qu'apparut un autre chat sur mon patio. Il était gentil et semblait affamé. Comme il n'avait pas de collier, le premier soir je lui donnai quelques croquettes. Il revint le lendemain matin et il faisait tellement pitié que je divisai la nourriture de mes chats en trois, ajoutant quelques croquettes en prime dans l'assiette du pauvre minet. J'avais mis le doigt dans l'engrenage... J'aurais dû remarquer que le "pauvre chat" était un peu enrobé...
In May 2011, a new cat appeared on my sundeck. He was really cute and seemed hungry. Since he had no collar, the first night I gave him some kibbles. He returned the next morning and he was so pityful that I divided the food of my cats in three parts, adding a few kibbles into the dish or the poor kitty. I had just taken the first step on a path that would cause me some troubles... I should have noticed that the "poor cat" was a wee on the fat side ...

QUATRE SAISONS DANS LA RUELLE DES CHATS (troisième partie)
FOUR SEASONS IN CAT'S ALLEY (Third Part)
Le 16 mars 2011, un nouveau chat fit apparition sur mon patio. Très différent du précédent, il était tout noir mais son poitrail et ses pattes étaient blancs.
On March 16th 2011, a new cat began to visit my sundeck. It was all black with white paws and chest. Very different in style from the previous one.
Il semblait jeune.
Seemed young.
Ses beaux yeux jaunes étaient hypnotiques.
It's eyes were mesmerizing!
Plus tard dans la saison, j'allais apprendre son nom et découvrir une petite caractéristique génétique... mais n'en disons pas trop! :)
Later in the season, I would learn it's name and find out that he was a kind of mutant.... but let's not say too much for now! :)
