Parfois, je trouve que ma vie est un fouillis total! Surtout quand ma cuisine présente un aspect bordélique total ... Même Merlin, ces jours-là, ça le déprime totalement...
Sometimes, I find that my life is a total shamble. Especially when my kitchen is a total mess. Even Merlin is totally depressed on those days...

SPORT
Je ne suis pas sportive et je ne vais pas voir les événements sportifs. Il a vraiment fallu que je fouille dans mes archives pour trouver une photo pour le concours sur JorgDotOrg Photohunt de cette semaine... Heureusement, deux joueurs sont dans les airs... :)
I'm not the sportive kind and never go to sports events. I had to really look hard through my files to find a pic for this week contest on JorgDotOrg Photohunt... But two players don't touch the ground... :)

Regardez ce que j'ai reçu cette semaine!!!! :) Les CAE sont des cartes d'artiste échangeables. Le premier à avoir eu cette idée est un Suisse. Depuis, l'idée a fait le tour du monde. Le principe est simple. Il faut faire une carte de 2.5 par 3.5 pouces. On peut utiliser n'importe quelle technique artistique. Mais la carte doit être échangée, jamais vendue. Look what I got this week!!! :) ATCs are artist trading cards. The first who had the idea was a man from Switzerland and since, the idea has been all around the World. Thi principle is simple. Il y a deux semaines, Clo, Gene et moi avons décidé de faire des cartes d'artiste. Gene a finalement préféré travailler sur son album de finissants. (Elle entre au secondaire en Août).

COLLABORATION
PHOTO MERLINPRINCESSE
Presque tout le monde a vu "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain"... Je crois que c'est de là que m'est venue l'idée de photographier un petit animal en peluche lors de mon voyage dans l'Ouest. À la toute dernière minute, juste avant de prendre l'autobus qui me conduirait à l'aéroport de Dorval, j'ai acheté le petit lapin bleu que j'ai baptisé Lapin Poulain... Certains d'entre vous ont probablement vu le petit film que j'ai fait sur lui avec mes photos de voyage. Lapin Poulain a même son blog perso, sur lequel il racontera bientôt des aventures!
Lorsque j'ai envoyé les photos de Lapin sur Flick'r je n'aurais jamais pensé qu'il y avait d'autres personnes qui avaient eu la même idée que moi. C'est d'abord Victorie (VFM4) de Hollande, qui m'a parlé de groupes comme "Amateur Aquatics" et "Travelling Non-Gnomes". Puis un jour, un de mes contacts, Joerg, d'Allemagne, m'a dit que Lapin Poulain l'avait inspiré. Il a ressorti son vieil âne en peluche de l'armoire où il dormait depuis 30 ans et a commencé à prendre des photos du petit âne et de son ami le mouton. Esel et Shaf... Puis Joerg a eu l'idé de créer son propre groupe et m'a demandé d'être co-administrateur. J'ai bien sûr accepté. "The Secret Life or Material Animals" était né. Peu à peu, des membres se sont ajoutés. Des gens très imaginatifs, qui inventent toutes sortes d'histoire et photographient avec humour leurs oursons, cochons, dragons et autres bestioles.
Fin novembre, Joerg a eu l'idée de proposer que nous fassions un calendrier... Pas pour publication, mais pour notre plaisir personnel! Ce ne fut pas facile, mais finalement, nous avons réussi! En voici quelques pages. Et vous pouvez voir les autres ici.
Maintenant, le groupe compte 45 membres. Et nous faisons des concours thématiques à chaque mois. Nous nous amusons beaucoup! :)

Almost everybody has seen "Amélie". I think the idea of taking some pics of a plush during my trip to Western Canada came from that movie. Just before taking the bus from Quebec City to Dorval, I bought that small blue rabbit and called him Lapin Poulain... Some of you have probably seen the little movie I made with the pics I took of him during my trip. And Lapin Poulain has now his own blog where he will soon tell us about all his great adventures.
When I uploaded the pics of Lapin Poulain on Flick'r, I would never have thought that there were others like me. Victorie (VFM4) from Holland first told me about groups like "Amateur Aquatics" and "Travelling Non-Gnomes". Then one day, one of my contact from Germany, Joerg, told me that Lapin Poulain had inspired him. He got his old donkey out from the box where it has been for 30 years and began to take pics of him and his friend the sheep. The adventures of Esel and Shaf.
Then Joerg asked me to be co-administrator on a group he wanted to create. I accepted. "The Secret Life of Material Animals" was born. More and more people began to come into the group. They were funny and imaginative, taking nice images of their dragons, pigs or bears. Like real movie directors!
At the end of November, Joerg had the idea to make a calendar. Not for publication, just for fun. It was not easy at first but so we did. Here I show you some pages of it. To see more click here.
To this day, we are 45 members in the group. And each month, we have a thematic contest. That is really fun! :)

Les plus gros arbres du Canada se retrouvent dans l'Ouest du pays. Ici, à Vancouver, des racines ont poussé par dessus un arbre mort.... Très surprenant.
The biggest trees of Canada can be found in the Western part of the country. Here in Vancouver, some roots have grown over a dead tree. Very strange.

Au moment où je tape ces lignes, la tempête sévit toujours! La première image a été prise à 10h28 ce matin et la dernière, à 16h51. Mais nous avons déjà vu pire! :) Chouette!!! Je ne travaillais pas aujourd'hui!
The snowstorm is still "snowstorming", while I write this post! The first image was taken at 10h28 and the last one at 16h51. But we've seen worst! :) Cool! I did not have to work today!

Janvier 1981. J'étais en voiture, quelque part dans le Vermont. Ma caméra était sur mes genoux, le flash en train de se recharger... J'ai dû accrocher le déclencheur sans m'en rendre compte. Je ne suis pas très jolie vue par en dessous! :)
January 1981. I was in a car, somewhere in Vermont. Ma camera sitting on my lap, the flash was on charge. I must have hit the shutter button by error. I'm not so cute seen from under! :)
