How beautiful. This photo captures something of the serenity alluded to on the pages of this book.

I love this phrase.

You are not as full of despair as you like to pretend you are. ;-)

Very subtle and well done!

I stole something from you*giggle*
ah-hemm, I mean "borrowed".
I borrowed something from you.
Come see what I carried away.

Is that the book to read when trapped in the snow MerlinPrincesse? I'd imagine being in an igloo could be quite serene, after the initial panic ...

Rramone: I am dark... not full of despair...Am I?
Lilah: Thanks... Hhehehe You only stole the French traduction from moi.... The rest is from Kermitt the Frog...
Anon: The problem is NOT having to much snow. The problem is having snow all the times. It melts between each storm.... Meaning once a day those days. Blah! I only miss the SOFTNESS (yes I misuse this word again) of Spring...

Ignore rrramone, he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Spring does have a softness to it, all the pastels and newborns. Everything is new and fresh, so I think that is an apt way to describe it.

Thanks, Perriette... Maybe RRRRamone understands...Hhehhee. Spring is always good for moi. Like a revival. (I was born in Spring...) So when it will be a bit warmer and sunny, I will feel better....

I can't stand the cold and doesn't even get that cold where I'm at. NO snow. I'd shrivel up and die if I was where you are at. I go into hibernation during winter, came out early this year because Hellcat dragged me to the sandbox.

It's the lack of light, it can cause depression. Ever heard of SAD?

'Moderate' is the word you misused MerlinPrincesse :) No thanks to Perriette ...

Perriette: Maybe it's going to seem strange to you but I love Winter... January is very cold, but one gets use to it. You would to! January sun is wonderful. Whith the whiteness of the snow, it's very different from South! :) Lately, we had almost no sun. We had snow everyday. Not the nice white snow of January... The slush of the end of Winter. That is depressing. People are depressed. We had one day of sun, a week ago and it was 10 degres (celcius) And on the newspaper, it made the first page. YUP. We have some streets here in Quebec where people go just to sit on terraces, drink beer or coffee and watch the other people.... Everybody was crazy that day, sunbathing, walking on those streets! At 10 degres Celcius! Hheheheh! :)
And yes, I know SAD.... I'm a pharmacist...Hhehhee. I know all the stuff! Each year, in Fall, I want to buy one of those special lamps. I have procrastinated again this year.... Probably because I had an accident and was inside for 2 months, unable to walk... :)

Anon: Where did I use the word moderate? I am not moderate and will never be... I'm sure I have NOT used it...Hhehhehehe.... :)

Anonymous a dit…

You didn't use it ... you keep forgetting it! HAHHHAAAAAAA (that was Cookie laughing again)
