BANFF SPRING HOTEL

Jeudi le 3 août 2006
Thurdsay, August the 3rd 2006

After shopping, we go for Lunch at the Banff Spring Hotel, not very far from Banff.

This hotel, like the Chateau Lake Louise and the Château Frontenac in Quebec City are Fairmont Hotels. Their architectures are similar, there are some very good restaurants, nice shops with expensive things and art galleries in there. The decoration and the furniture are always fabulous..... if you like the style...hehehhe...

In front of the hotel is a statue of William Van Horn. Sir William Cornelius Van Horne, KCMG (b. February 3, 1843 – d. September 11, 1915) was a pioneering North American railway executive.

A very cute bagpipe player welcomes us. NO I've not checked under his skirt!

Regardez-moi cette superbe salle! :)
Look at this beautiful room! :)

This is the base of the table and the carpet in the restaurant where we ate... Simple and elegant.

Un vraiment beau décor...
A real nice décor...

Lapin Poulain wants to talk about his visit too.

I like the image of Sir William Cornelius Van Horne, KCMG with the flowers! That room and resturant looks like my Grandparent's house. They even had rampant lions. Not really 'simple' decoration really HAHA!!
