UNE RIDE DANS LE TEMPS
A WRINKLE IN TIME

I did not want to talk about wrinkles in the face.... Anyway, when I read the theme on this week Illustration Friday, the first thing that came to my mind was space-continuun... One can't change herself. I'm a sci-fi fan-addict... And everybody knows that a wrinkle in the spacetime continuum can cause many incredible things!!!! The little Alice had experienced it once... :)

I like the colours here, and the complex design. [And your cats are nice]

Lovely!

I love the literary references. Madeleine L'Engle lived one town over from me when she wrote A Wrinkle in Time. :0)

Great illo!

Very nicely done! I love the texture and colors and of course, the wrinkles.

Thanks, ElizT... I love cats AND birds... ;o) I would like to have a Jack, like Anon, but my two monsters would eat him.... :(

Thanks, Valerie! It was at first an Artist Trading Card... I've exchanged it a few months ago, but still have the pic... :)

Merci, Lisa M Griffin! It's not easy to represent a wrinkle in time... ;o) And I immediately thought of that ATC I made last year... It has been photoshopped and layered a lot! :)

Aravis.... Are you sit? I have a secret for you... Till yesterday, I never heard of that book. Don't forget I live in a French country and my references are sometimes different from yours... I was googgelling "Wrinkle in Time" to know if it could be used in English (like in French) and PAF!!! I saw the title of the book!!! Now I must absolutely read it! :)

Ginger...Thanks for visiting... and for the nice compliment! :)

I did not think of wrinkles in that manner but I like that idea. From now on, if something unexpected happens I'll just say we had a wrinkle in our plans, come to think of it, we do say that! Very good MP! The pretty texture shows.

All wrinkles in time show us the way, CES! :) Serendipitous events, meaningful dreams, strange events that change our lives, synchronicity.... :) But sometimes, (me first) we are blind to those things...

OH! Thank a lot, Atomicvelvetsigh! :))))

OH! Lisa!!! I will keep you in my buddy-list so I could exchange some with you... :) One day... When I will have more!... ARGH!!!! So much to do so little time!

Fabulous wrinkles - I didn't think of it like that at all... not that I've illustrated it... just thought about it!

C'est tres original comme image, et tres bien fait! Les couleurs et textures sont merveilleux. Bravo, j'aime vos "rides" beaucoup.

Thankyou for all your comments on my blog while I was on holidays MerlinPrincesse :) You look especially lovely in this self portrait with all those cute wrinkles on your face but I don't know who 'Alice' is :))))

PS: WHY didn't you lock up Mademoiselle Princesse HMMMMM? Jacks says "Meow" now.

merlinprincesse a dit…

It was a real pleasure, Anon! And Mademoiselle Princesse had very very much fun! The strangest thing is that now, she does not meow anymore... She only says BWARK!... ;o)

Alice seems to be having more fun than I remember... :D

merlinprincesse a dit…

You could, Mr Pigeon. But the wind would have to be very strong to send the poop to Quebec...

What, Anon... He did on yours?

Alice is a wise little girl, Tony! ;o)
