DESATURATION

This week's theme on B&W Photocontest is desaturation. I have made many tests with other images. But the results were'nt good. Then I found this photo taken in the Dr Sun Yat Sen Park. A nice image, but I like the surrealist effect I realized by keeping only the green colours of the foliage.

Bonsoir,
c'est très beau!

Well done. And the composition is perfect as willow trees are not always willing partners when it come to photographing them.

Shhhh ... it looks quiet ...

Jozee and Sandra: In fact, this was a very zen place. I really enjoyed to be there. :) This place is in the list of the 100 places you should see before dying! And I have understood why! :)
Marc: Merci! Merci! Merci! :))))
Blue monk: Those willos trees are taken care of in a perfect way. They are zen... :)))
Anon: shhhh... It was!

Beautiful and serene shot. It reminds me of a scene from Memoirs of A Geisha which was an absolute beautiful movie!

Bon week-end

Kimberly: I must see that movie!!! :)

:) ) Vive Photoshop! Rapide et efficace... Hheheheeheheeh! :P

I was playing around with this challenge last night as well, but was unhappy with the results so far. You did a wonderful job of it!

Yup! This is not as easy as it appears! What I do is oversaturate one color and desaturate the whole pic. Many tmes... Sometimes, the result is blah! :D

Facile! :)
