IMMATURE

We had some flowers as a gift on year ago, but they finally died. I tried to save the plant, but did not succeed. So I threw it in the garbages, but had some remorses and pick this small flower back. I put it in water. I wonder if it's going to open...

Looks like a cyclamen - is that what it is? They do die right back over the summer and come up again to flower again - its only if they rot that you've lost them.

Caroline is right, and it should grow roots in a glass if you snipped the end with clean, sharp scissors.

Caroline and Anon: Yes this was a cyclamen. Too late for the plant though, cause it's gone... :( But this flower is still surviving in a glass of water... We will see... Thanks for the advices. I will do better next time... And will keep you posted about the flower.

Mei: Moi aussi... Je déteste predre un plante.. :(

This is so lovely and delicate. It's a wonderful interpretation of the "Immature" theme as well!
