IL Y A UN AN
ONE YEAR AGO

I have promised to tell you all about this journey to Western Canada for more than a year now! What is procrastination??? OK! Today, I begin my story!

Since I'm on Blogger and the net, I have known many fantastic people I would never have met... More than one year ago, I met Mei Shile, another blogger from Quebec City, and we have decided to make a trip to Vancouver with some stops here and there in other provinces. We would pay a little visit to Prairie Girl in Winnipeg and Andrea Pratt in Vancouver...

Ooh! That sounds fantastic. Take photographs. I like it when bloggers meet and they turn out to be marvelous people in real life.

There are prairies in Canada? Wow.

Lunatica! We have the same prairies as you have.... :) Flat countryside in the middle of our respective countries.
Zero in geography!!! Mwhahahahha! :)

Do your prairies have buffalo?

They used to. I think they were almost extinct, after the crazy hunts of the 19th and 20th century. Here is what I found...
The American Buffalo only lives in National Parks of Canada. The species being almost extincted, it is not hunted anymore. (I know that there are some cattle farms here in Quebec Province). There are many buffalos in Yellowstone Park... :)
