ATC JEUDI
ATC THURSDAY

TOUS LES JEUDIS, POUR L'AMOUR DE L'ART DÉMOCRATISÉ!
EVERY THURSDAY, FOR THE LOVE OR DEMOCRATIZED ART!

Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art creates on 2,5 X 3,5 inches card stock, the size of sports trading cards. All techniques are allowed and anybody can produce them. ATCs are signed, dated and titled on the back then traded away for ATCs made by others. Money never exchanges hands and all trades are one-for-one.

Cartes spéciales
Special ATCs

Sometimes, trades are more special. I love cards with a 3-D look! And the material could be a non conventional one, like textile. I admire those who make those cards! Sewing in such a small size is certainly not easy!

Fairy Portrait. Tracey MacLeod aka Goddessofhellfire on Flick'r (USA).

This card was exchanged on Flick'r. It's one of the first I've got, and I love the look of the fairie. She's probably the Button Fairy! The button is a real one.

Sans titre. Untitled. Brenda Smoak , Flick'r. (Usa)

The image of this one is covered with a nice green organdy. And look at the small yellow bag! Isn't it cute?

Warrior Stallion, Erin Chapman aka Gretchen. (USA)
J'adore le petit pompom rouge!
I LOVE the red pompom"...

Gauche/Left: Colour of Spring, Glenys McLaren aka Glenwine (Scotland)
Droite/ Right: Seize the Day, Kristina Kellermann aka Mercurial Magpie on Flick'r (USA)
J'adore les couleurs de celles-ci!
Love the colours of those ones!

There are feathers on the second card!

"#1 of Ancients - Fleur's Secret" et/and #3 of Ancients- Aspira", Carol Vasenko aka CeeVeeArts , Etsy.
I BOUGHT those cards on Etsy. I know that ATCs are supposed to be exchanged but some artists sell them. I understand very well why and it allows the non-artists to have access to small beautiful pieces of art at a very low price. I love those two acquisitions!

Wow, what eclectic collection. I love the ones you bought at Etsy. I have an Etsy account but have to open the store yet.

What a great ATCs you have - how do you display them?

Or do you just keep them in a drawer and get them out now and again to look at them?

Waaa! CES on ETSY???? Do you make ATCs??? Or ACEO like they are called when sold...heehhehe. I have soooo many nice cards and would love to show them all....*sigh*

Sometimes Caroline, I just let some here and there. But they are all stored in a box. Two boxes in fact. And from time to time, I take a look or show them to friends
