I love wooden furniture! I also like the 'squareness' in a lot of Chinese design but not into intricate decorative designs unless looking at displays like this :) The Chinese like their cranes!
Yes, Anon! Those cranes were beautiful! I love the colour of the last pic.... Thoug I'm not a person who would put brown in her environment...hhehehhe...
The Chinese from the MING period were tiny, CES... Indeed, the chair don't seem to be very comfortable.... But they are CUTE!

The chairs don't look very sturdy though. I think they are wonderful but only if people were always delicate in their movements.
