SKYWATCH FRIDAY

Yesterday was the official opening of the Festivities for the 400th Anniversary of Quebec City. Some grandiose fireworks had been programmed on the St-Lawrence River. But as it was rather late, at 23:30hours, I was too tired to go and stayed home. Earing the big bangs, I went on my balcony and manage to see some fireworks! The pics are a little fuzzy but well.... it's better than nothing...

Well, what a delight, look who I ran into over here on Sky Watch Friday -- my old friend...

Great fireworks -- I've got a shot of them on my site today, so when you have time stop on by and say hello.

And don't make yourself a stranger over at Web-Pix -- we need you now more than ever because Josie has moved on...

All the best to you. Don.

These are lovely photos of fireworks - I especially like the top one as it gives them a context.

Hope you are feeling full of beans today!

Fantastic photos to celebrate a birthday.

Seulement la vraie Princesse Merlin pourrait nous montrer toutes ces beautés
(hope the French came out well).

Yes, CES! I love Skywatch Friday. It makes us remember to look UP... I have the tendency to always look DOWN... :)

Thank you Aravis... When I learned photo, many many years ago, blurred pics were bad pics. When I came digital, I learned that blurred pics can sometimes be very nice, so now, I keep all pics in file.... :)

Happy belated Fourth of July, Tony! Must have been something in NY! :)

I'M ONLY 115, Anon!!!! };-} Thanks for the nice comment! :)
