Yesterday, I had an accident. Some stupid orange cones were in the hall of a museum and I falled. Didn't saw them... I REALLY falled! 911, ambulance, emergency of an hospital of Vancouver. The pain became really unbearable and my left leg rapidly became like a big ballooooon. Tetanos shot, morphine and nauseas that come with it. But the morphine was very effective for many hours. Now, I have to stay at the hotel for the rest of the day. Mei has been really patient! I was lucky to have her! The good news is that I have taken lots of pics... Hehhehhehehhe! I'm crazy. Must be the drugs... And this was my first trip in an ambulance. :) Tomorrow, Quebec City. I'll have to be on vacation for one more week cause I have some difficulties to walk. BUT now, I have more thing to tell you about... :))))

À demain!
Oh no! I bet you did that just so you could blog about it! :) Seriously, I do hope you're feeling better. Is anything broken? Did they take you to St Paul's Hospital?
What a rough trip! Morphine? My goodness I hope you're okay.
Did Clo really ask you if the ambulance was pretty? Pics in the ambulance?
Hmmmm.
Is she just finding this out here?
Updates when possible please! Be well.
oh my!!! So sorry to here that you fell I sure hope you are o.k. Sounds like you're having a ball despite your fall! Can't wait to see your pix!!!
Pas de photos dans l'ambulance. J'étais sous le choc!
Andrea: They took me to UBC Hospital. It was the nearest... And nothing broken. Just pain and bruises and big big big leg!
Jozee:No she asked me if the GUYS in the ambulance were... But I did not noticed... The doctor thouhg was... Hehhehhehhe! An morphine is NOT fun. Lots of nauseas and diziness... Blah!
I am in fact, Valerie! :))))
To Jo: I knew already about her accident, MP told me on the phone. I was joking about pics in the ambulance, of course, but not about the guys... He, he, he...
And I talked to MP a little earlier, she stay in her hotel room today, and took a rest. And she told me she took many, many photos, so... :O)
Sheesh! Drama Queen .. *wink*
Watch out for the rest of the cones ... have fun!
Smooch,
The Tart
; )
Oh no! :-O
I hope there's no permanent damage.
Tart: Drama Queen! I like that! I think I am...Hehhehehheh! Those were ferocious cones... :)
Gary: I am not sure for the damages. Nothing broken. For the ligaments, I have to see my doctor here to check when the swelling will disepear! OH! Permanant damages to my honour, though... But as I'm not a Klingon... Hehhhehehe!
Get well Valerie!
Anon: Thank you Aussie!
Mei: Merci mon amie! :)
Enough with the bad news, war in Irak and Lebanon. And now an accident in Western Canada.
We're not safe anywhewre.

The truth is out there, but be careful finding it.
P.S. Saw the Movie : Bad Cop, Good Cop with Patrick Huard an Colm Fiore. Just imagine a Québec bilingual adaptation of Lethal Weapon with Patrick Huard as Mel Gibson and hockey as a motive for a serial killer. Great stuff. To all Canadians out there, go see it!

Dana-Nico: HA!!!!! Trutht is getting out! Pis t'a aimé Bon cop bad cop?
Oh, MP! So sorry to hear this news but so glad you had Mei to be there with you. That's what friends are for! Maybe you needed another week's vacation, but not THIS way! Do pamper yourself and get well!
Ginnie: Mei was very patient! And I think it will be more than one more week vacation... my poor leg is NOT in good shape... :(
Bonjour,
