Continuez à venir me voir...YUK YUK YUK!!!
I was sending an e-mail to a friend Mei Shile when I felt the urge to post a pic of me and my brother, taken by my father in the fifties...But I've not forgotten my FAV-100 (maybe Fav-more) And incidently, I have the intention to talk about some blogs I like. During the next weeks. Stay Tune... Yuk Yuk Yuk!!!

I was living with my parents. One day, my father found a strange hump on his parking. What was that?... A fey days later, we discovered a bunch of mushrooms, emerging from the asphalt. Twas so strange to see those tiny and fragile little things in a perfect shape... How they managed to do that was (and still is) a mystery. Taking a pic was the least I could do...

Dieu! Gene a déjà tellement de talent...
A few days ago, in my kitchen, there was my niece taking a pic of MY Princesse. "Hey, it's MY model!" I said to her. And taking a look, those pics where VERY GOOG... Jealousy... I grabbed my camera, and took the same photo. Twas very similar but a little different. God! She's good...

FAV-100 (1964)
This picture is special for me. It was taken such a long time ago. It is on my first roll of photos. A 127 format... I had just ask my sister and my cousin to stay still. The negative of this picture is very deteriorated cause I have made a lot of copies of it, the old way. This image has always been very special for me. Today, my cousin is gone. She was a great soul, sensitive and very talented.
FAV-100 (1999)
I have hundreds of pictures of my three nieces and many ot them are in my selection, so you are going to see a lot of Corinne, Geneviève and Patricia in my next posts. If you have kids, take as many photos as you can cause when they become teens, it becomes more difficult to make them pose for you...

FAV-100 (2003)
I like this dynamic picture. I've taken it during the Firemen's parade, in Quebec City. This image is one of those I like best. My intention was to show you my 10 best shots, but I soon realized that there would be a lot more. Maybe a hundred or more. Instead, I decided to tell you a short story of my "career" as a photographer. It began in the sixties when I received a toy-camera. And I've kept all the negatives. So, thank to Photoshop, I'v been able to print some new images from that old stuff. In the next few days, you're really gonna see some of my favorite pictures. But no theme, no classification, no order. Just for the fun of it. Think there will be a little more than 10 images. They're the FAV-100

COOOOL! (Parfois je suis tellement frivole...LOL). :o)
Hey girls!!! I know that what I'm gonna say is not very feminist, but having a good haircut is soooo nice. It helps when you're a little bit doooown... This is the new MOI, from a Friday afternoon with my hairstylist. COOOOL! (Sometimes I'm so frivolous... LOL). :o)
Bon voyage Petite Soeur.
Suzanne was the sister of one of my best friend, Denise. I had known her for a long time. Last week, Denise asked me to take some pictures at her sister's funerals. I found that a little bit disturbing but I accepted. One can't take photos in such an event like in a wedding. You have to be discret and respect the family's sorrow. It was not easy, but I managed to take a few good images. This one is the one I prefer. Suzanne was a traveller and a happy and very dynamic young women. She gave me my first photograph' s contract. She was a very good journalist and had seen lots of countries. This message is posted in her memory. Have a nice journey, Little Sister.

FRUIT BIZARRE... IS THIS REALLY A FRUIT?
Those are bananas and oranges and peaches...But what is this (very expensive) fruit looking more like a cactus. It's juice was viscous and full of small pits... And it was tasting like a banana...Not so good...

CHAMBRE AVEC VUE.-A ROOM WITH A VIEW.
Cet endroit charmant s'appelle Le Centre d'Art Marcel Gagnon. Magnifique.
During the first week of my vacations, we decide to go to Reford Gardens in Gaspesia. We took the road without any hotel reservation. With the help of a little brochure about good inns and lodging houses in Quebec, I choose a place called Centre d'Art Marcel Gagnon. After four and a half hours of driving and a few stops, we arived at the "auberge" . What a surprise! The place was wonderfull. The owner was an artist and he had decided to place an installation behind his inn. Some sculptures of peoples on rafts and other walking out of the water. It was called Le Grand Rassemblement (The Great Gathering). The room was very nice, the restaurant served excellents meals and we found in the boutique some little sculptures made by Mr Gagnon himself, reproducing the same figures that were around the hotel... What a nice and relaxing place.

LA VUE.-THE VIEW
We where listening to the soft music of the waves and looking at those hieratic, immobile and mysterious sculpture. With the sunset, the atmosphere was perfect. All we wanted to do was to sit, to listen to the noises of the night and to meditate. Almost a trance.

IMPRESSIONISME
Since she was a baby, I 've taken hundreds of pictures of my niece Geneviève. She likes to pose and is a very good model. She's even beginning this year to work with a digital camera. She's goooood and only 10! The human beeing IS my favorite subject. I often use Photoshop to transform the photos I take. The results are sometimes magnificent. It's like painting with pixels!

DENTELLE DE CHENILLE...-A CATERPILLAR LACE
CHAQUE ANNÉE, À LA FIN DE L'ÉTÉ, DU LIERRE COURT TOUT AUTOUR DE MA GALERIE. ET QUAND LES PETITES BESTIOLES ESTIVALES ONT DISPARU ET QU'ELLES ONT GRIGNOTÉ LES FEUILLES DE LA PLANTE, IL RESTE UNE VÉRITABLE OEUVRE D'ART, CE QUE J'APPELLE LA DENTELLE DE CHENILLE. UNE CHOSE INSIGNIFIANTE DEVIENT PARFOIS MAGNIFIQUE!
EACH YEAR, AT THE END OF SUMMER, WHEN ALMOST ALL THE INSECTS ARE GONE, ONE CAN SEE THOSE WONDERFUL WORKS OF ART, MADE BY A VERY SMALL KIND OF CATERPILLAR. IT'S WHAT I CALL MY CATERPILLAR LACE. ALMOST INSIGNIFICANT THING BUT SO GRANDIOSE!

My Sister and Geneviève, her daughter, practicing for the Olympics...of 2140...Still need a little improvment! But lot of fun came from those hot summer days in my brother's pool. Now all this is gone. And my vacation are over. Bouhouhou!

MON PATIO.- MY PATIO.
Snif.
My vacations are over... Only two days left. And THIS is what is awaiting us. Do I exxagerate? Maybe a little. The snow is not for tomorrow... But still, I feel a bit depressed. Sigh.
