LES SOULIERS VERTS
THE GREEN SHOES

This morning, I post this pic for all the kind people that come to see my blog. I believe some of you are now my friends. But this post is especially for this friend who "peptalked" me last evening...
Those green shoes were my mother's. She was wearing them in the sixties. Once, my sis made a display with them in her shop-window. Those were very elegant shoes but must have been very uncomfortable!!! And if you take a close look , you can see my reflection on the window... :o)

Ouch I could never wear shoes that high! Love the colour!

And the funny orange face next to them (and no I don't mean your reflection!)

Caroline: The funny orange face next to them IS my reflection...

Modroom: Problems again with blogger???

Yes, I hate to say this but we/I did wear those in the sixties. And we lived to talk about it. But you'd never catch me in them now (for more reasons than one, which I won't go into here), even tho' they're back in style. Didn't we learn anything about what those shoes do to women (and some men, I know, I know!)??

Your reflection, btw, is everywhere, MP, even when you're not on top of the world. In case you need to know!

Ginnie: Thanks for the nice comment. There is a story about those shoes. Two men came in Clo's store to buy them. But they were too small for the guy woh wanted to wear them... Phew! :o)

PG: They are very nice in fact. I remember my mom wearing them. From Italy I think. I don't know the size (9 probably). And I don't know if they have been sold yet... Clo could tell you all that...But girl...They really seem VERY uncomfortable... ;o)
