Merci beaucoup Andrea.
A few months ago, I met this artist on Blogger. I loved so much what she does that I decided to buy one of her paintings. I received it today. And it's more wonderful in reality than on the pic I saw. Andrea Pratt also sent me one of her wonderful drawings. I'm so happy. Thanks Andrea.

MA-GNI-FI-QUE!
The painting looks wonderful and with lots of lovely texture!
Yep girls, this is magnifique. And the texture you can see in the bottom is lace....Love it!
Oh wow you bought an Andrea painting! That is amazing. One of my favourites too... well chosen! I wish I could see them in real life.... you are so fortunate.
Will you have to redecorate to accomodate it?My enamel teacher said the only good reason he knew for redecorating was to show a work off to its best! (But he was in the middle of doing up a whole house and a bit fed up with repainting in general... instead of doing his own art... )
Ah now I've made the connection... there is a quality like the glow in enamels that is coming through.
Très belle oeuvre! Plein de style. Même les murs vont être heureux :-)!
Caroline: I consider Andrea as a great artist. You're not from Canada but I can tell you that she has a style that you could not see here in the Eastern part of the country. Her landscapes are beautiful. But this serie is the one I prefer. I hesitated for many days before choosing this one. I had 3 in mind and this was the one I took. Love it. And no I will not have to redecorate. I'm lucky to posses many nice paintings and I do a rotation kinda thing... LOL. Because I have many friends who are artists and many of my own creations... Not enough walls....
Mei: LOL. Je pense que mes murs seraient encore plus contents si je les repeinturais.... ;o)
I am so pleased (relieved?) you like it, and now that I'm done doing landscapes for awhile, you have spurred me on to continue with this series. It's my favourite, too. So thank you mon petit chou.
Andre: Re rien. Hope your exposition is going well! And the painting is just beside me...YEP!
Wow! It looks beautiful....you are so lucky!
The colors look more vivid!
I love buying real art that moves me...to hang on our real walls. Good for you!
Lyn and Ginnie: Yep this is beautiful! And soooooo much more nice in reality. YEP! I AM lucky!
WOW, they are so beautiful!!!
I covet art... just about the only thing I ever have, never, never leave me alone in a museum!!! Hehehe!
LOL, ldahl! I think all artist covet art... But you paint sooo well. If there is something you really really want in a Museum, do like me.... copy it! :o) I have a nice Van Gogh in my kitchen!
