Oui! C'est fou la vie! Trop de travail ces derniers temps! Je n'ai même presque plus le temps de visiter mes amis blogueurs! Je dois commencer à me préparer pour Découvr'art, auquel je participe encore cet été. Puis il y a ce projet collectif pour les Fêtes du Quatrième Centenaire de la Ville de Québec, en 2008. Je vous en reparlerai sans doute plus tard. Heureusement, vendredi, j'ai commencé de courtes vacances. Onze jour, c'est peu! J'en ai profité pour aller dîner avec mon amie Mei,au Café Kriegfoff
,sur la rue Cartier. Il faisait tellement beau! Et les terrasses étaient pleines de monde! J'ai pris beaucoup de photos, dont le portrait de Mei que j'aime beaucoup! Nous sommes aussi allées, Mei et moi, dans une agence pour continuer la préparation de notre voyage dans l'Ouest Canadien. Cet été, nous allons enfin rencontrer quelques amis bloggueurs! :)
Et finalement, vendredi soir, j'étais invitée à manger du suchi! Quelle chance. Ma première expérience dans un vrai suchi-bar. J'ai adoré! Si vous venez à Québec, mes amis, ne manquez pas cet endroit, le YUZU! Et je vous y accompagnerai! ;o)

Yes! Life is crazy! Too much work lately! I do not even have enough time to visit my bloggerfriends! I must start to prepare for Découvr'art, in which I still take part this summer. Then there is this collective project for Quebec City 400th Anniversary Celebrations in 2008. I will undoubtedly speak to you about it later. Fortunately, Friday, I began a short holiday. Eleven days, is a bit short though! I began this vacation by going to dine with my friend Mei, on Cartier Street. The weather was so nice! And the terraces were full with people! I took many photographs, and this portrait of Mei that I like very much! We also went, Mei and I, in an agency to go on with the preparation of our future trip to the Canadian West. This summer, we finally will meet some bloggerfriends! :)
Finally, Friday evening, I was invited to eat suchi! My first experiment in a real suchi-bar. I adored! If you come to Quebec, my friends, do not miss this place, The YUZU. I will accompany you there! ;o) And, dear blogfans, this week, I promise to visit you. I'M ON VACATION!!!

Up north of the 55th parallel, people eat raw fish (Omble arctique) too, but in a semi-frozen state. To me it's like eating a fishy-flavoured popsicle. I guess it's an acquired taste.
Mr Tiger! You're an early morning man!!! If you come to Quebec City... no Burger King for ya! But we have lots of nice REAL restaurants here....:)

Nanuk: I remember when I lived in Gaspesia that I use to eat smoked and dried cod...YUMMY! It was like chips for us. Every little kid there eat that! I'm an adventurous one in food!!!! Like to try new things though I admit I'm not sure I would eat insects....
